Since we could only carve one pumpkin last night, we carved Carter’s pumpkin tonight. I had a moment of parental growth where I let him handle the carving kit knife by himself … these are the really nice and sharp knives too. But he really wanted to do it and this seemed like an opportunity for him to move to that next stage of kid … while I hovered very close by, haha.
