It was tough to pick a photo for this day because I got some fun ones of them at Top Golf, but how often do these two hoodlums actually stay together nicely for a photo? Not very. So here they are, wedged in where golf bags are supposed to go.

Really felt like summer today – the first of several swim lessons so that the kids were safe in the pool while we are at Black Butte.

There are so many wild fires in British Columbia and in Washington right now and the smoke is oppressive. The winds were such that it drifted as far south as central Oregon where we were staying, making for a gorgeous sunset tonight.

We went into town so that Jeremy could get a hair cut and the boys both needed them. After finding a proper barber shop, Gavin doesn’t seem to happy about the whole process and Carter opt’d out completely. Poor Gavs scraped his nose on the bottom of the pool (don’t ask me how) and the remnants of sunscreen on his face this morning really make this a winner, haha.

Gavin and I tried to do a selfie at the pool today. The weather has been insanely hot and we are so thankful that we had a place to cool off!
