Once again, getting around to editing photos from earlier in the summer. Today we have some photos of when Nana & Papa came over for dinner in June. There was a lot of playing outside and our cherry tree was LOADED. The boys loved heading down to the tree to pick cherries and Papa taught them an awesome way to launch the pits at each other (insert a sarcastic mom *yay* with jazz hands here). We hauled down our ladder and let the boys go to town picking the cherries and then they chased Papa around trying to get him with their cherry pits. Taunting ensued, as did a LOT of laughter, making it a wonderful early summer evening.

My favorite part of eating cherries is launching the pits, a deadly accurate skill I developed as a boy. Glad to see the tradition is being kept alive in the grandkids. Kudos to Papa!
