Today was a longer repeat of yesterday, with the exception of us getting a full hook-up site and only having to move once into it. Grandma, Carter, and I headed back to the beach to relax in the sun and we thoroughly enjoyed our day of laziness. Carter did wonderfully again, watching all the kids playing in the water and then taking a nice long nap. While we were there, we saw a seal swim into the shore right next to some kids swimming. They threw their ball to it to see if it wanted to play with that and it scared it off, but we have never seen a seal get that close to someone before!
By the time we got back, ate dinner, gave Carter a bath and all took showers, the day was gone. I am so glad that we decided to stay another day, it was wonderful to just be able to relax and read a book on the beach!
Carter is 15 weeks old! How the heck did that happen? He marked the occasion with his first true meltdown though – he screamed for a good 20 minutes without being consoled by anything. I think he was having some tummy issues and was trying to work the gas out of his system. Poor little guy was so upset :-( He has been such a great traveler this trip, he only fusses a little bit when he is tired or hungry, so it was difficult to see him so unhappy.
