Of course because we had plans, it started snowing at around 10:30-11am and continued until probably past midnight last night. We now have about 8-9 inches of snow on the ground, though it is hard to tell complete totals because the wind created snow drifts and in some places there is hardly any (rooftops) and others it is probably like a foot deep. The airport has canceled a ton of flights because they ran out of de-icer and there are thousands now stuck at Sea Tac. Weather calls for snow showers today and looks like another system on Tuesday night, but that could amount to nothing (just like yesterday’s was supposed to). We should start warming up on Christmas eve, but not much, and there is a slight chance of snow on Christmas. Guess we shall wait and see! I will post photos later today.
