The first three days of this new year brought a wonderful surprise of sunshine to the Northwest. We desperately have needed it since our December broke records for number of days with measurable precipitation. Anyway, since it is nice out (but COLD), I bundled the boys up this afternoon for a walk along the trails that wind their way through our neighborhood. They did great and we explored a new trail with some steep hills that Gavin and I hobbled our way slowly along. It felt great to be outside enjoying the fresh air and I anticipate both boys will sleep well tonight!
<Along the trail the runs parallel to our street; Carter waiting for Gavin and I before he crosses; Carter playing on the bridge that goes to our house – that white stuff is ice; Gavin telling me “ONE!” and then “SEVEN!” (he says everything with gusto)>
