It has been magnificent the last two days here in the Northwest. Today we even got into the 60s (at least according to my car thermometer). Vitamin D sure is invigorating when you live out here and are used to the grey rain about this time of year. Sadly, I am worried that this spell of mild and lovely weather will come at a cost to us later this Spring. Last year we had a wonderful January and the crappiest summer ever. I think I am going to chose to look at the bright and warm side and enjoy the heck out of this weather and believe our summer and spring will be fantastic.
My daffodils and peonies are all starting to come up – here is a snapshot of one of my peony plants busting through. This is a drool-worthy site for every gardener!
