Finally got both kids asleep at the same time and I had a few minutes to pull together the before and after photos of painting the kitchen, family room, and entry. Having our own colors makes the house feel way more like home. And I can’t believe have been in our new house almost four months already.
Painting with small children is a daunting task, so I had Jeremy take the kids to visit Uncle Chip and Auntie Sandy overnight so that I didn’t have to worry about little hands and wet paint. Melissa came over to help and keep me company and we had a very entertaining two days of me trying to scale 18 feet to get the entry painted. We started Saturday at around noon and finished up on Sunday at about 9pm and only got maybe three hours of sleep. We painted until about 3am on Saturday night and I was back at it again around 7am after some coffee. It was an exhausting two days, but I am really happy with the end product.
Paint Colors are all Benjamin Moore: Heather Grey, Bradstreet Beige, and Jackson Tan.
