The boys had a game at 60 Acres today and my dad and I visited “our bench.” Several years ago I *made* my dad run a half marathon with me and we did our long training runs on the weekend here. While we did our runs separate, I always waited for him to finish on this picnic table. It was such a huge accomplishment that he did that run and I am so proud of him for powering through all the obstacles and doing it.

There was this one segment of light that broke through the dark clouds and lit up the tree across the trail today. It was gorgeous!
