Day 274 | October 1, 2018

Everything from our living and dining room is now in our family room and kitchen. Including the baby grand piano. Gavin had to get his practice in … just in a strange and crowded location.

      Day 275 | October 2, 2018

Hardwoods are finally being installed and we are heading out of town for the next few days. So excited to come home and see what everything looks like and nervous about the stain color I chose.

      Day 276 | October 3, 2018

Our first full day in Nashville and we spent the morning visiting the Grand Ole Opry, then the entire afternoon at the pool. This was the cutest picture of these two crazies.

      Day 277 | October 4, 2018

We had a super fun day today where we toured the town of Franklin, Tennessee visiting the Lotz House and the Carter House to learn all about the Civil War. We stopped for lunch at a little pizza place after trying to complete an I Spy tour of downtown Franklin and the boys definitely needed a pick me up.

      Day 278 | October 5, 2018

Another busy day of travel for us – we went on a River Boat Tour of the Cumberland River aboard the General Jackson. They had a fun music show while lunch was being served and then we headed upstairs to watch two of the performers do an acoustic set on the way back to the dock. We weren’t far from Gaylord Opryland, so we walked over to check out the Grand hotel. The photo below is Gavin posing in front of one of the gorgeous fall displays there. Then dinner that night was a family style at Monells.

      Day 279 | October 6, 2018

Our last day in Nashville and Gavin snapped this photo of Carter and I. We toured the Country Music Hall of Fame in the morning and Jeremy had to catch a separate flight home, so the boys and I went back to our favorite restaurant for lunch (the boys favorite because it was the first place we ate?) and Gavin snapped this cute photo of Carter and me.

      Day 280 | October 7, 2018

New Floors! New Floors! They are so gorgeous – the grey stain we picked compliments our tile floors beautifully. Now the biggest things that stand out are how the wall colors absolutely do NOT go with anything and our weirdly pink fireplace tile has got to go. Thankfully I have everything all ready to start painting, because I have four days to get the walls and wainscoting painted before the piano gets moved back in here.
