Day 29 | January 29, 2018

We went shelling at Barefoot Beach this morning. The boys had a great time chasing the birds, trying not to get hit by the waves and finding all sorts of great shells.

      Day 30 | January 30, 2018

The crazy always comes out when I ask these two for a nice photo. At least it was authentic.

      Day 31 | January 31, 2018

Another gorgeous gulf side sunset, but this time the view was from the Pirate boat on our way back to dock.

      Day 32 | February 1, 2018

We rented a boat and the boys really wanted to fish – amazingly enough they both caught one right away!

      Day 33 | February 2, 2018

While this is a really terrible phone photo, I am including it more for what it represents in our lives today. There was a band playing on the pier and Gavin has been asking for a drum set for awhile. He was mesmerized watching them play the different instruments and moved between dancing to the music and focusing so completely on how they were playing that he was oblivious to everything else. We told him that if he sticks out one more year on piano where he practices daily and works hard, he will earn a drum set. In the meantime we need to start seeking out more live music for him.

      Day 34 | February 3, 2018

All good things must come to an end … we chased the sunset from the east coast to the west coast and home.

      Day 35 | February 4, 2018

These two clowns on Super Bowl. ‘Nuff said.
