Why This Photo:
This was supposed to be a photo of my niece Melissa from her birthday celebration on Sunday. Needless to say, in the mad dash to get the kids out of the house, I left my camera sitting at home. I went through my archive of photos of Melissa and found this one from Christmas. I. Love. It. She is a gorgeous young lady who will be turning seventeen in a few days. I cannot believe that!
Challenges/Lessons Learned:
I did not have a flash fire and the lighting wasn’t all the great, so the ISO kicked up a ton. The photo looked pixelated, so I made some specific adjustments in Lightroom using the Noise Reduction/Luminance slider. Then I kinda went crazy. I have seen all sorts of presets to achieve a specific look and whatnot, so I started experimenting with all the sliders to see what I could come up with on my own and this is what I ended up with. I am pretty happy with it!
