Plum Tree Blossom-3505

      Photo Details:
Exposure time 1/1000 sec, Aperture f/2.8 ISO 100, Focal Length 27mm, Canon EF 16-35mm F/2.8L

      Why This Photo:
I loved how the branch came across the photo and the contrast of light and dark. In other set ups I had it at different angles and even almost vertical, but this one was the most appealing.

      Challenges/Lessons Learned:
I took several photos and some had the sky in the background and the clouds seemed to wash out part of the photo. With this one I cropped it out so the dark contrasted the white blossoms. As I looked at the set up, I decided to go with black and white instead of the green grass/white blossom – the look was so much more dramatic.
