Why This Photo:
Denise was such a great sport throughout the weekend while I hauled my camera out and took a bunch of photos. In this one, I laid on the ground and pointed my camera upwards because the architecture was so incredible and the spring flowers absolutely lovely. Once I got down to that level, I noticed the stark tree branches waiting patiently for their leaves to come in, giving even more dimension to the sky. I am loving this time of year!
Challenges/Lessons Learned:
Correct exposure was challenging because the sky was super bright and the foreground with the planter edged on the side of darker. I tried a bunch of different manipulations of shutter speed (I wanted to keep my depth of field) until I got an exposure that I liked.
Very cool perspectives!
