Why This Photo:
Last weekend we had over some friends from our old neighborhood. It also happened to be the first time we have reached over 90 degrees since 2010. We pulled out the inflatable pool and the kids had a great time keeping cooled off. This was the best shot showing four of the six kids (Ava was off to the side and Gavin was taking a nap). I decided to put an antique preset over it because it felt like a “good ‘ole days” kind of photo.
Challenges/Lessons Learned:
I love getting the kids in a natural state – in this photo Cora is posing and I should have had her playing instead. Plus the sun coming through the tree leaves made lighting a little challenging, but not too bad.
