      Photo Details:
Exposure time 1/80 sec, Aperture f/2.8 ISO 400, Focal Length 17mm, Canon EF 16-35mm F/2.8L, Flash

      Why This Photo:
It was a tough call on this one or the bonus shot below. I figure this one he won’t be too embarrassed about when he gets older, though it is clear that Carter has ZERO desire to get his photo taken right now. I also decided to take the shot by our art alcove so that each year there will be some measurement of how much he has grown.

      Challenges/Lessons Learned:
Getting a three year old to do anything you want them to when you are in a time crunch is impossible. I knew I wanted to take this shot and should have done it about a half hour before I tried to, but hey, it wouldn’t be a first day of school without some rushing around!

      Bonus Shot:
Because you know this is really how every kid feels on the first day back to school, lolololol!
