Why This Photo:
Saturday Jeremy and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary by going to dinner at The Herbfarm. I would highly recommend anyone visiting the Seattle area check this place out – it is AMAZING. Nine course meal with six flights of wine paired to the food you are eating. H-E-A-V-E-N. So why this photo? This is also where Jeremy and I got engaged, so he took me back to the scene of the crime as a surprise.
How do you sum up five years of lessons learned? Haaaaaaaa…. We have been fortunate to only run into more or less trivial challenges in our marriage, those that slowly shape us into becoming a better spouse by listening, learning, and responding. Our highlights are our children (of course), but really the other big moment that shaped us was moving into our home last year and making it OUR home (I purchased the house we lived in prior to this before I met Jeremy).
