Why This Photo:
This is my friend Jody and this photo captures her perfectly – she is such a lovely person, so much fun, and she dances her way through life. At an auction last year she bought a catered dinner for ten people hosted at a home that overlooked Lake Washington. Little did she know at the time, this dinner ended up being one to celebrate the important people from the Northwest that have entered her and her husband Chris’ lives over the last several years. In two weeks they are moving across the country to New York. Jeremy and I were so honored and touched to be able to spend this glorious evening with them and it will be something we will always remember.
Challenges/Lessons Learned:
I am still trying to get to know our new point and shoot camera. It seems to struggle a bit in low light situations, but that also could be user error at this point as I haven’t really sat down to figure out the ins and outs of it. There were a lot of indoor photos with the flash that were blurry or focused on wonky things, so I need to sit down and really play with it when I have time to put it through its paces.
