Jeremy-6272

      Photo Details:
Exposure time 1/50 sec, Aperture f/2.8 ISO 400, Focal Length 26mm, Canon EF 16-35mm F/2.8L, Flash Fired

      Why This Photo:
Jeremy has been going into the gym three times a week as part of our “Getting Healthy” regime (his part 2 after the weight loss phase). While he didn’t need to lose any weight, he wanted to start working on more muscle definition and it is paying off – I wanted to take some “during” photos so that he can see his progress.

      Challenges/Lessons Learned:
I am so used to shooting my kids that I didn’t really think about my height and the angle of this photograph. It makes me want to experiment with shooting people at different angles to find out which ones look right in what situations. And I am still working on shooting with a flash so that it doesn’t feel like there is a flash being used. This shot isn’t too bad because there isn’t a nasty harsh light on him anywhere, but I still need to experiment more.

That is actually a very tough shot to get right using a flash. Zero hotspots. Good job.
