Greenhouse-2644

A day late this week, life has been so busy here lately!

      Photo Details:
Exposure time 1/640 sec, Aperture f/5 ISO 400, Focal Length 16 mm, Lens Canon EF 16-35mm F/2.8L

      Why This Photo:
Spring has sprung around here and I walked around my yard to see if I could capture what it was like. My greenhouse was really the best spot – I have had geraniums blooming in there all winter long. I tried a few at different angles and liked the head-on look the best.

      Challenges/Lessons Learned:
The sunlight coming in from the right was a little harsh so getting a good exposure without blowing things out in the front and making them too dark in the back was tricky. I honestly just kept messing with my camera until I got what I wanted. I should have also taken more time to compose the shot here – I have plants ALL over the floor too, so I couldn’t get a perfectly aligned shot down the middle of the table like I would have liked. By the time I had gotten my exposure to the point I liked, I had to go back inside to check to see if Gavin woke up from his nap. Sadly, I didn’t make it back out to correct it, so I am making due.

And I CANNOT wait for Spring to come to stay!
