      Why This Photo:
I had knee surgery on Monday afternoon to get my torn meniscus repaired. This is a shot of the three incisions they made to get the scope, clippers, and “shop vac” in there to repair everything. My knee is still a bit swollen, but at least my calf and foot aren’t anymore. For two days following the surgery my foot looked like a stuffed sausage, so not pretty, haha. Monday night was pretty painful, but following that, the road to recovery has been relatively easy. Helps that I have slept a lot. I mean A. LOT. And the more you move, the better things feel. That’s a good thing – it is a busy time of year!

      Challenges/Lessons Learned:
This photo is more to document what is going on in our lives, rather than for a “photography” challenge. Especially since this is the first time in a week that I have picked up my camera – I have been too busy sleeping to do anything. I did process it in a preset called “The Ultimate Fighter” however, figuring that was fitting as to where my poor body is at!
