      Photo Details:
Exposure time 1/100 sec, Aperture f/3.5 ISO 2000, Focal Length 19mm, Canon EF 16-35mm F/2.8L, Flash Fired

      Why This Photo:
I tried and tried and tried to get the right shot of the plate of cookies and milk for this, but I just wasn’t happy with the set up and lighting on any of them. They weren’t bad, but they weren’t great. I picked this photo because I liked the unique perspective as I laid on the floor to get the tag for the present and the train behind it.

      Challenges/Lessons Learned:
I have learned SO much about flash photography in the last couple of weeks, but am by no means an expert. I have thrown away so many pictures because I didn’t bounce it right, there was reflection in the window, it was too harsh, it was too bright. I am just scratching the surface and am lucky when one in every ten photos comes out the way I want it to. And this is WAY better than when I was shooting with flash before. I will keep picking away at it and will keep upping my keepers and in the meantime, it is so much fun to be trying new and different things!
