It is cold this morning – in the 40s for the first time in probably months!  Fall is definitely starting to approach around here because it is getting dark out earlier and earlier every day.  That is one of the best things about living in the Northwest – in the summertime, we have daylight until 10pm.  Now it is starting to get dark around 8ish and the sun is coming up around 6am.

Last night we took Carter to his first Mariners game.  I know, I know, it took us all summer to finally make one, but here are some pictures of him enjoying his time!  He did really well, though he initially got freaked out by the loud cheering (he still startles easily).  He did get used to it and finally crashed sometime in the 5th inning.  Like any smart parents, we left early so that we could get home and to bed so when he is sleeping, we are sleeping.  Plus this morning we are doing a test run of our mornings next week.  Both of us were up at 5:45am and I need to go for my 3 mile run today, then head into Seattle for a meeting with James & a hair appointment.
