We kicked off the second half of February with a trip to Vegas. You can read about it in Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3.
Once we got back, I decided I needed a bit of a kick in the pants with my photography so I decided to take a class by a photographer whose work I really admire. It has been so much fun to have specific things I am trying to achieve each week and I have learned a bunch on the editing side by having my photos critiqued.
So here are two photos of Gavin utilizing natural light indoors.
And then I realized my “model” only has patience for about 30 seconds, so I moved on to some flowers. They didn’t give me as much grief.
Then I talked Angela into letting me take her photo when we met for coffee one morning. I had a gorgeous wall of windows for this photo.
The boys FINALLY got haircuts. Don’t mind the crazy that I get when I ask them for a photo – Jeremy was travelling so we wanted to send him a quick picture.
And on the last day of February the arborist and his crew arrived to start taking out trees in our yard. I am going to also include the first day of March so that you can see the before and after of what they did. It is nuts. We have so much more light in our house from it and it is definitely a different look from what we had before. So much more sky!
