<Week 2 on Project 52 Is Posted>
We have had a bit of a rough weekend here at the Halbert household. Poor Carter has turned a corner on the teething front and seems to be in quite a bit more pain these days. I think he has another tooth trying to bust through next to the one that finally did poke its way out. We were all up last night from about 2:30 until 4:30 and everyone was tired today. Poor little guy – it cannot feel good.
In the last couple of days Carter has figured out the walking-thing. He no longer looks like a drunk Frankenstein with his arms stretched out in front of him, but rather he is pivoting on his feet to change direction suddenly and is actually trying to run. Plus he is falling less and less. Um, that didn’t take long. <EEEEEK!>
I got Jeremy an iPhone on friday. And I got Ian an iPhone on friday. Poor Todd… he just isn’t cool anymore. Jeremy found a bunch of really cool apps over the weekend, so that has been fun and I am still loving it! Grandma and Grandpa are too – I keep sending them quick photos and videos of Carter so they don’t miss him as much while they are travelling!
The first photo has great light and shadow. Ava and Reese shows contrast in subjects and expressions with great effects. My favorite subject is Ava with the green ribbon, perhaps the shoulder could be blurred out and play a little with the effects.
