I will get two weeks of Project 52 posted in a day or two – I haven’t forgotten, we have just been so busy. Gavin had a 105 degree temperature on Sunday night and we almost made a trek to the hospital. Thankfully it broke quickly and we didn’t need to, but it has been a stressful few days getting him back on the mend. He is MUCH better now.

Spring has finally sprung around here and we have been spending more and more time outside, enjoying the yard and running around. In fact, my wonderful husband completed two major projects for the kids over the weekend to help keep them occupied on the warmer, nicer days. We now have a play set, complete with swings, slide, rock climbing wall, and a look out with telescope, binoculars, and steering wheel. And then on a complete whim, we also ended up with a 15 foot enclosed trampoline that will help wear them out. Pictures of the projects will be coming, once I have a little time to sit down and catch my breath.

Last weekend I also pressure washed everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. I spent probably 20 hours over the weekend cleaning the green slime off all the flagstones, the concrete, the fire pit, the patio furniture, and only made it through 2/3rds of the driveway before I ran out of time. Everything looks SO much better, in fact, who knew our flagstones had color in them?! I will get photos of that soon as well.

In the meantime, here is how I found Gavin this morning after eating a banana. I think that we can safely say the banana won:

      He is just adorable.

My son also loves covering himself with his food, especially peanut butter and oddly enough, sliced cheese.
